Azure Foundation
Azure has always focussed on more than just the bottom line. We have a strong belief in corporate citizenship and actively contribute to improving our community.
The Azure Capital Foundation Limited (the Foundation) was established in 2009 to assist deserving community organisations fulfil their charters.
Every year the shareholders of Azure Capital donate 2% of the Firm's pre tax profits to the Foundation, with Azure staff also contributing through a Workplace Giving Program. The Foundation's current distribution guidelines allocate funding in the following areas:
- Education; focussing on organisations which provide opportunities to underprivileged children by using education as a means of breaking cycles of poverty and disadvantage;
- Community projects and organisations in which Azure staff have a significant time or personal investment; and
- Unspecified projects and organisations that fit with the philosophy outlined above. Preference is given to projects and organisations that are of particular relevance to either staff and/or the community at the time.
In addition to financial assistance our staff also give their time to projects supported by the Foundation.
