OVERVIEW

The Azure Resources Fund (the Fund) ARSN 153 481 595 is an unlisted Australian unit trust registered as a managed investment scheme. The Fund was established to leverage Azure Capital's competitive advantage in the mining and resources space and to provide investors with exposure to small to mid cap resources sector related stocks.

INVESTMENT OBJECTIVES

The Fund invests in a portfolio of listed and unlisted companies operating in the resource, mining, energy, commodity and associated service sectors. Investments are made through primary capital raisings of companies at an Initial Public Offering stage or conducting discounted capital raisings post IPO. The Fund invests in small to medium capitalised firms as these companies are typically under-researched. The Fund's Investment Manager, Azure Funds Management Pty Ltd aims to uncover significant investment opportunities for capital growth in the short to medium term.

The Fund seeks to deliver value by participating in early stage capital raisings including promotional round investment and pre-IPO investment. The Fund considers early stage investments in firms that will conduct an IPO in a 3-12 month time frame. The investments are either in the form of equity or options on equity. The investment strategy is dependent upon the fundamental understanding of the company and the market in which it operates.

The Fund adopts a long-only strategy and does not and will not utilise a shorting strategy. The Fund does not utilise explicit leverage and is not permitted to borrow.
